For our new venture we are looking for a Head of Technology able to lead the entire product lifecycle from customer discovery to development. The company is at the Intersection of FinTech and Alternative Medicine.

It can take up to 9 months for a claim to be paid by insurances to practitioners

That’s where we come in.

The financial struggle for CAM / Mental Health practices is prominent, and these businesses have sizable A/Rs. 77% of healthcare providers say it takes more than one month to collect medical claims. Delayed repayments of invoices (due to error, denials, etc), which can take as long as 3-9 months to process, resulting in cash flow crunches that hinder a practice’s ability to operate and grow.


Responsibilities include:

  • Own product vision, design, processes and development to deliver best-in-class product
  • Scope, build, and iterate on an MVP (including API and Algorithm)
  • Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships and external relationships
  • Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence
  • Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics
  • Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture
  • Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape
  • Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity


About you

  • At least 5+ years’ experience as a Tech Lead in a Startup/Scaleup environment, preferably within FinTech, ERP, or Payments.
  • Graduate degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
  • In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design and development
  • Hands-on experience with complex project management, especially B2B software
  • Deep knowledge of Accounting systems, API, data transfers
  • Comfortable with data science, algorithms, and AI
  • Experience launching multiple digital products through agile methodologies
  • Understanding of CAM, Insurance landscape is a plus.
  • Visually creative and experience translating user needs into functional tech-driven tools
  • Exceptional organizational skills to track and meet deadlines
  • Capacity for self-motivation, independent initiative and creative problem-solving
  • Diligent attention to detail and strong technical intuition
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
